if I do the speed tests I get very very strange results (none of them accurate)....hubby had a site that was pretty close...our average is about 1.5-3.1 down and .4 to .6xx up (never got more than .7 on the up), our rep says not much he can do since our lines are old and very old....unless we want to run new wires (which we cant even if we wanted to).

hot here too...and looks like the heavens will open up at any moment....a good day to go back to bed, my allergies are making me so tired anyways----

Just one of the issues with living in an apartment complex or a complex owned by others. Even if you wanted to do it, you couldn't. Have to have them do it.

They keep pushing back the rain for today. Was originally supposed to rain starting at 11. Then it was 1. Then 3. Now it is 6. Whatever. It will rain probably at some point.

That game was AWESOME! I'm kind of disappointed that Crawford didn't get one of the stars of the game since he was clutch in goal. But wow, started at like 7:30, went all the way until midnight central time! Such a great game.

Didn't rain at all yesterday. Or storm. So much for there 100% chance.

It did rain at some point this morning but I don't know when. Didn't run since I was up late watching the Hawks and I have to drive 3 hours today. Speaking of which.

Today is the last day I will be on until probably Monday. Doubt I will check in on Sunday since we will be driving back that day. So next time I talk to you all I will be married. oO

lol Since the honeymoon isn't until this coming weekend, I have a bit of time. The Mrs. is going to be working on her thesis this week, so I am taking her in each day and then doing some moving and unpacking at our apartment. So I have some spare time.

So yes, Mrs. Pwnd and I are back to our home now, at least until Friday when we leave for our honeymoon. The weekend was actually perfect. Looking back neither of us saw anything that we would change or wish went better. Friday the rehearsal went great, the rehearsal dinner we decided we would invite out of town family members as well. So they really enjoyed that we included them and had a great time catching up with each other. That night my side of the family was staying in the hotel so we all hung out in the breakfast area and chatted for quite a while.

On the day of the wedding, Saturday, it was pouring in the morning, with 60% chance of rain and storms in the afternoon. By the time I took my groomsmen, dad, father-in-law, and the ushers out for lunch it stopped raining. It then cleared up and didn't rain the rest of the day! It also dried up so her dress didn't get wet. The wedding was beautiful and it all went smoothly. All 3 of my nephews who were the ringbearers (3 out of 4 since the 4th is a month old) went down the aisle. Of course my bride was gorgeous. So the wedding went wonderfully, pictures were good, and the reception was great as well. Everyone had a whole lot of fun. When we got back to the hotel my family was in the breakfast room again just chatting away.

Sunday we had brunch at my sister-in-law and her husbands place with the families again. Another wonderful time that we got to share with all of them. After the brunch, which was like 5-6 hours long, we went over to my in-laws house. We opened presents and cards there. That took us to 6-7pm-ish. Then I had to pack the car. We ended up not leaving her folks place until 8:30 that night. 3 hour drive back meant we didn't get in until 11:30. Then I had to unpack the car, which took half an hour. We ended up not being able to go to sleep until 1am. But it was fine, because everything is in and we are working on getting everything put away.

It was a perfect weekend. A very long weekend, but a perfect one. I'm adjusting to having to wear a ring and she is just glad to have hers back. So now we take some time to unpack and unwind before we go on our honeymoon. Definitely a perfect weekend though.

yeah, wearing the ring is a bit of something to get used to....hubby wore his for years, until he started working inside of computers (not good to have a conductive material on your hands!)....neither of us wear ours now

(mine is too small, got an anniversary band I wear more....but still need to get it sized too).

so you had rain on your wedding day-- a very good sign, and hope it comes to pass!!
(now get to cleaning!!!)

We were very lucky that it cleared up. And very glad it did!

Sleeping is what happens when you are too exhausted from all the moving and traveling lol

I have got most of my old apartment packed up. Some of it moved over here. Most of it is going back to my parents house, since it is there stuff. We got the entertainment stuff set up last night, though I'm still waiting on setting up my PC.

yeah, moving can be a pain...I hope to do it only once more and then I can get rid of my collection of cardboard boxes.

I moved a fair amount of stuff Monday and then packed stuff yesterday. Moving the little critter today and that is it. Slowly but surely working on it.

So far we have been enjoying married life, even though it has been hectic with moving, packing, and car stuff.

yeah thats about the size of it, sometimes hectic sometimes tiring....sometimes fun and sometimes happy.

finally went to see the star trek movie (dont like crowds and I like cheap), was too loud, but otherwise ok. Guess I will be waiting for movies to come to dvd before I see them in the future---not fond of the headaches I get from the noise (I think I can still hear some of the explosions!).
(was going to go see it for my bday, but dont think its going to still be around then...so went to see it in the middle of the week early show, not too many peeps so not too bad).

Nothing that we haven't really experienced in our previous 6 years together. So this is pretty normal.

Ya movie theaters always seem to have to blast everything. And it doesn't help that in some movies they talk really quiet, then the explosions are super loud. >.> Just can't seem to win.

I like going to earlier shows as well. Less people and usually cheaper!

gonna build me an ark soon....been raining just about every day for the last month (ok, a few days we had just clouds).
still playin the original gw (with no plans to buy that knock off 'sequel').
and spending too much time ill yet again (migraines this year seem to be bad--with all the bad weather seem to go hand in hand).
